Using Affirmations to Boost Self Esteem

Everybody deserves to have the opportunity to experience self love and to love the body that they are in and the person that they are.


One of the ways to help build up your self esteem is to use affirmations daily. For those of you who haven't heard of affirmations, it is a process whereby you affirm something. In the form of self love and esteem, it is to affirm that you are an amazing person inside and out and to help boost self-esteem.


So today, I wanted to share with you some tips on how to use affirmations, the benefits affirmation can bring to your life and some helpful resources to track your affirmation journey.


Tips to Start:


- Start Your Day With Them

- Don't Be Afraid (remember talking positively about yourself is not vain)

- Pick as many positives about yourself as possible

- Use 'I am' at the start of every affirmation

- Use present tense

- Make it brief but specific

- Use a feeling or emotion in your affirmations for example: I am a happy person

- Use an action word ending 'ing' for example: I am good at supporting others

Benefits of Using Affirmations:


Some of the benefits of using affirmations are amazing for helping boost self esteem and to keep your spirits high. Below are a couple of benefits that affirmation can have on your daily life:


- Builds self esteem

- See life in a more positive light

- Decreases limiting beliefs and helps you belief that you can do anything

- Motivate yourself to feel good
